What is Bail?

Bail is money or property paid to the court as part of a promise that the arrested individual will appear for every court date. By default, many people who are arrested are held in jail until their cases are fully adjudicated. Those who are eligible for bail and don't want to wait for their court date in jail have the option to post the money required by the court. Once bail is posted. the accused can continue their daily lives freely until their court cases are fully adjudicated.

What is a Bail Bond?

When a person is arrested, the bail amount is set by the court based on a number of factors, including prior incidents and the perceived likelihood of the individual to return to court as mandated. Some individuals do not have the cash or resources on hand to meet the bail amount. A bail bond is the agreement signed to secure the money our agency pays the court to have a person released from jail. The client is released to our bail bond agency. If all of the conditions for bail are met, you are only responsible for paying the bail bond fee.

terms and Conditions

When an individual posts bail, that individual must follow the conditions set by the court in order to remain out of jail while waiting for trial, including appearing at court whenever required. Failure to adhere to the bail conditions can result in forfeiture of bail. When bail is forfeited, the full bail amount must be paid to the court. The person who signed for the Defendant and the bail bond, is responsible for this payment and other related fees incurred, including fugitive recovery fees.
